Connecting ideas, people, and places, books are my first love. Little Bay Books began as the blog Oak and River Books in the early 2020s, and has grown into the community-oriented space it is today. Whether in person or online, I love to chat and listen to people’s stories. I believe that literature is best served with a latte (and if you bring me a caramel one, I will be your best friend!)

In 2025, I operated a storefront in Ashland, WI. While I loved my store neighbors and had the best landlords, I ultimately left that space to focus on mental health and family. In 2026, Little Bay Books is returning with an online platform (Squarespace) and appearances at various markets and vendor events throughout the year. This summer, find us at the Ashland Farmers Market!

Whether you interact with us in person or online, my motto remains the same: “Come as you are, leave as a friend.”
